Why?

Join the course and deepen your knowledge and skills in innovative and creative design of tourism products and services! The focus is on local heritage and unspoiled nature – forest and sea – at low season.

Who?

The camp is meant for students who have successfully passed all/most of the e-learning courses of the BOOSTED project. If you wish to experience and test what you have learned in a real-life environment – please, apply for the course!

What?

  • Experience and tourism trends today. How to use northern nature and heritage to attract visitors from different markets?
  • Seasonality challenges in rural and small town tourism.
  • How to promote and market low-season/off-season tourism products? Smart solutions in tourism product development and marketing.
  • Innovation and creativity: activities and hands-on experience as part of a low-season (package) tour.

How?

  • Learning Café: exchange and analysis of national/regional cases by students and teachers
  • Practical seminars
  • Forest hikes and walks by the sea
  • Hands-on workshops inspired by forest and the sea
  • Testing/trying of some local rural tourism products/activities
  • Field trip to meet local tourism entrepreneurs, start-up and creative community representatives
